Hospitality great, felt valued and considered. Extremely clean and well kept.
Only down side was the rather small shower room.

The Dunborrodale owner really pays attention to details. As a result the rooms are exceptionally pleasant, the breakfasts especially tasty and other guest requests are cheerfully met, sometimes before they are even verbalized.
Each room has a view of the harbor, which we greatly enjoyed.
Based on our other inquiries and stays elsewhere in Scotland, we found this establishment to be particularly good value for our money.
We'd definitely stay here again!
Location
Good location to visit all parts of Isle of Skye easily.
A short walk to the center of Portree - We were pleased to find that this was the case and suggest that this fact be included in the information on Dunborrodale.

The double room although a little small, was extremely clean and well presented. The view from the window out into the bay was superb. The greeting on arrival was well received and very welcoming. The breakfast was comprehensive and well presented. Have already recommended Dundorrodale to work collegues.

The Isle of Skye is very beautiful and so clean. We would recommend a trip on the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to visit North Uist and Harris. £26.75 per person for a day trip was very good value. We would highly recommend the 2 hour cruise on the Lady B from Portree Harbour down the Sound of Raasay. Skipper 'Angie' was an excellent host and very informative. The highlight of the trip was watching a White Tailed Sea Eagle swoop for fish thrown from the boat. An superb trip!

We intended to visit the Luib Folk Museum but it was closed (it was Sunday). It would be surely open if it was on the continent. We were not alone there - buses, cars ... people were dissapointed.

Portree offers plenty for visitors. Excellent restaurants and bars. We enjoyed a boat trip with a highly experienced and informative guide.
