we were made welcome, although we arrived early,around 4pm, because of the wet weather.

Very comfy firm beds and quiet throughout the nights. Great breakfasts. Super view from room. Easy access to centre of village. Ample parking. Very pleasant hosts. Would return on another visit to Skye.

Old Man of Stor, The Quirang, Neiste Point, McLoed's Maidens, Am Basteir, Duntolm Castle, Uig. PLaces with dramatic scenery and good walking/scrambling. Shame about the poor weather! But if you are dressed properly you don't get wet, just disappointed that the mist or fog obscures the views. Terrific sight to see the Ganets diving and seals. 4 full days and we didn't make it to the southern part of the island. Lots to see. Disappointed that the island museum was shut on a Sunday. As were 20 plus other people at the same time. Just think how much could be made by opening it on a Sunday. Not all of us care about God. Also lacking in cafes/mobile refreshment vehicles which again would benefit the tourist all over the island. Please consider these points seriously.

Te house was pristine clean and we were impressed with parking facilities in so small an area. The garden was lovely. A very comfortable room and excellent shower room. The breakfast was lovely and overall the rate was very good value for money.
Location
The views from the house were wonderful. It is only a short walk to the town where there are plenty of eating places and although the weather was terrible we managed to see most of it.

Location and setting perfect. Room adequate size, shower cubicle small, sink extremely small. Timing of breakfast very regimentally set.
Location
Location very centrally placed to explore Isle of Skye. Walking and scenery outstanding together with historic attractions.
