I liked the comfortable bed, and that the bedroom separate from bathroom. I would have liked a bigger TV and free Internet.

The owners were amazingly helpful and kind. Not only did they recommend a place to eat, but he drove us there. He provided a map and route to where we wanted to go. Very nice people.

I was warmly welcomed by Mr Robert Archibald who also, on request, gave me valuable information that I acted on, regarding good eating places in Perth. I was given two keys in order to come and go as I wished. Breakfast was clean and very well cooked. The room was also clean and warm with excellent en suite facility. With off road parking as well, value for money was extraordinary. It was a perfect stay for me and Mrs Frances Archibald couldn't have been nicer or more helpful either. They were very quick to refund me when I accidentally overpaid by a few pounds. I would never have noticed my error. A big thank you from me to them both. They were great.

Location

I stayed in Perth because I like the Town Centre shopping plus I visited Blair Castle for the Piping Championship on 27 Oct 07. I also visited the excellent 'Inveran Bagpipe Makers' in nearby Newburgh to get pipe bags tied in and other work done on my bagpipes. It was all very worthwhile for me. A most enjoyable three days.

We enjoyed an extremely friendly and helpful welcome and the whole accommodation is decorated to a high standard. Our room was comfortable and the facilities were excellent. We enjoyed the usual tea, coffee, biscuits but also liquid soap and shower gel, tissues and cotton wool balls. The breakfast was great too. We were made to feel very relaxed and enjoyed our stay very much.

We only stayed overnight with a 13 month old so just had a walk into town before bed - walked along the river which is beautiful and to a local duck pond in the morning which was recommended by the lady of the house who also gave us bread to feed the ducks!
