The apartment was very clean and homely. It was also a lot bigger than it looked on the photos. There was more than enough room for 6 people.

Location

The apartment is a short walk from princes street and the royal mile. We also visited Murrayfield stadium which is around a 20 minute walk away.

Value for money was great. The size of the apartment and decoration were fantastic. Perfeect location as the street was quiet and attractive but we were 5 mins walk to Haymarket and 10 mins to Princes Street.

This is a large, spacious flat, excellently and tastefully furnished. We were originally going to be six people, but in the event there were just four of us. However, even with six there would be plenty of room. The location is excellent, too, with private (though accessible) gardens opposite. I should certainly recommend this flat for any group of four-six people wanting to stay in Edinburgh for a few days. The only thing to be aware of in advance if you are going by car are the parking arrangements. Most of the parking on the street is for resident permit holders only (and this is NOT provided), but there is some ticketed parking at the end of the street, which is obligatory from 0830 to 1830, but for no more than four hours at one go. So you have to find alternative parking if you are in the flat all day.

Location

Edinburgh sells itself as a tourist attraction! We also spent a day outside the city, driving up to Perth, across to Crieff (don't miss Scotland's oldest distillery, slightly misleading labelled as "The Famous Grouse Experience", but well worth a visit), and down through Stirling. Well worth it, especially if - as we were - you are lucky with the weather!

Good space, well equipped kitchen, excellent bathrooms, nicely furnished with some outside space. Very central but peaceful area.

Location

Convenient for sightseeing and all the attractions of Edinburgh and surroundings.
