All in all my stay was good.
The only problem I had was on my last night.
I came back into the hotel after being out all day to find that my room had not been serviced as I had requested.

The room was very comfortable but I was disappointed with breakfast. There was no herbal tea which most places provide nowadays. The reception staff were helpful and friendly.

whilst the hotel appears a little aged it was very clean, had an excellent bathroom and spacious room. A few more appointments in the room such as alounge or extra chairs would have been useful.The breakfast staff were very friendly and the food plentiful.
Location
The red open tourist buses were are great way to see and orientate ourselves to the city. The city around central square was full of history and it is very central to alot of surrounding towns and locations.

The accomodation was good but the hotel was undergoing refurbishment and we had not been informed of this prior to our arrival otherwise we would have selected a different hotel.
The Breakfast room on the saturday morning was completely full and we had to wait a long time to be seated
Location
The loaction of the hotel was perfect as I was attending a conference so it was in easy walking distance. Also, a good loaction for the university and Kelvingrove area

Standard of room was fine and it was clean. The entrance to the hotel inside/outside is really off-putting - very scruffy and run down looking.
