The location was amazing, the apartment is in an idyllic area. Gordon, the owner, was really nice to us, the hospitality was excellent. He provided us with a bottle of wine, chocolate, milk an coffee and we did not expect anythink like this ... The value for money was good too and the apartment was very clean and tidy.Really nice stay, hope we can come back soon :-)
Location
As I said before, the location was perfect. Just 5 min walking from town. We loved the old town, the castle and something you can not miss is the view from the Arthur´s seat, stunning !!! We did a free walking tour in spanish with New European tours, and we had a reaaly nice spanish girl called Merce, who showed us the old town of Edinburg with the most incredible stories, highly recommended !!

The location was very quiet, and yet within easy walking distance of Princes Street. The flat was clean and well equipped.
Location
Somewhat awkward to initially find the accommodation, due in part to some road closures. We particularly enjoyed a walk along the Waters of Leith, and a visit to the new parliament.

The location is peaceful and picturesque, yet only a short walk into the city centre. The accomodation looks directly down onto the river.
The proprieter was most accomodating and friendly, and the welcome gifts of chocolate, wine, fresh milk etc was most appreciated.
The accomodation was clean, with a good standard of furnishings, t.v dvd player etc, together with internet access and loads of helpful books and guides on where to visit et.

Went during the fringe festival...but visited loads of local attractions as well as fringe events. Edinburgh has to rate as a top city to visit, with so much to do and see. We tried numerous restaurants and were never disapointed. Some of the pubs...Cafe Royale, and Dome especially have fantastic old interiors and a great selection of real ales.(The good pub guide in the accomodation was a great help in finding these places to visit. The Jazz Bar opposite the National Museum is also worth a visit.I would have to add that the locals were also so friendly.I would definetely go back to Edinburgh and to the same accomodation.

The location in Dean village was picture perfect and very easy walking to most of Edinburgh's attractions. Plenty of light in the rooms and top quality fixtures and fittings . The stairs were a bit daunting at first ,especially when highly jet-lagged but we soon got used to them. The owner was very friendly and professional.
