a warm friendly guesthouse with a wonderful helpful hostess, serving good wholesome breakfasts as well asbeing close to all local amenities,hopefully stay there again when we travel to ayr

Our accommodation at Deanbank was most comfortable, very clean, with a very good choice of breakfast, well cooked and nicely presented. Mrs. Wilson was a very friendly, charming lady, and willing to help in any way she could.
Location
We only used the accommodation in Ayr for one night going from Stranraer to the Western Highlands and Skye, and one night returning, so cannot comment on the area itself, though Mrs. Wilson did point us in the direction of Dunure on our way back to Stranraer and we were very taken with it and glad we had made the small detour.
