Our hostess was most pleasant and accomodating, and the room and double bed was spacious and comfortable. Curtains blocked the late evening light well enough for us to sleep soundly, and the breakfast was among the best we had when compared with similar standard accomodation. An upstairs room did not concern us too much even though we did have some heavy luggage. Overall a most pleasant and refreshing stay.

Location

Inverness has changed considerably since our last visit 25 yrs ago and it was well worth a good walk through. Dalmagarry was nicely placed for visits to the town, Fort george and Culloden-(not too close to town and traffic noise, but not too far away). Being away from the light industrial area and well in the suburban area made for a quiet and comforting location.

Hospitality was great, as I arrived late, and was still met with a very warm welcome. Standard of room was excellent, and the food was to a good standard, and plenty of it. I will use this facility on my next visit.

Location

Fort George was outstanding for me, plenty to see and full of history. Culloden was, again, full of history and was very impressed with the modern Visitor Centre telling the story of Bonny Prince Charlie in such an interactive way.
