The owners were lovely and very eager to help out with directions etc. I had the best porridge for breakfast - very delicious. Room and bathroom was very nice and roomy.
Location
Bus to city and down to harbour right outside the door which made it easy to get around. The highlight was getting the bus down to the harbour and doing a tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia - that was very unexpected.

It was the best place we had stayed in throughout our stay in England- clean, large enough and very comfortable. The service was also excellent. I definitely hope to come back and stay with you again. And by the way- the Scottish breakfast will be remembered for a long time !!

We appreciated that it was so clean. That the bathroom was quite newly maid. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfastroom was very fresh and the food good.
The hosts where very friendly and helpful and we felt welcome and warmly accepted.
It was a bit noisy as we had a room heading towards the street.

Though arranged the room for 4 nights 10 weeks in advance, got probably only the smallest room with bathroom over the corridor but private.
The hospitality and food were up to standard for 4 stars.
Because the room was so small, with only one chair and no common sitting area (apart from breakfast room with tables and chairs) available, we did not feel too comofortable in the room.
Front rooms are very noisy during nights.
