Everything was just perfect, the breakfast is really outstanding, the room was cosy and clean and Rae and Peter are the friendliest hosts ever!

Location

Edinburgh's Hogmanay party, the Castle, Palace of Holyroodhouse, National Gallery, a walking tour through the Vaults, a pub crawl: you should do all of these!

The room and the attached ensuite were of excellent standards, very clean. The bed, pillows and duvet provided were of very good quality. Beautiful splendid garden. Slept soundly. Coffee, tea and biscuits were replenished daily. A soak in the antique style bath tub was a TREAT, after my morning flight from LHR T5 at 06 50 am. Proximity to the airport was very convenient for me - Airlink bus to the airport every 10 mins, as Rae McKenzie told me. Rae and Peter really warm people and tried their best to make me feel comfy. I needed an iron and it was lent to me , free of charge ! breakfast was a feast - didn't feel peckish at all during the day. I really felt at home. Thank you Rae and Peter ( for the glass of wine too !!). Will be back next year with my mother.

Very comfortable room and ensuite bathroom - adequate room for suitcases and we enjoyed everything very much.

Location

We found it very convenient as there was street parking in front of the house for our car and we were able to walk a short distance and take the bus into town which was very convenient. There are several restaurants nearby and we enjoyed walking down to the Toby's Carvery for several dinners. This was our second stay at Craigmore B/B - the breakfasts are wonderful and the hosts are friendly and very helpful. We would highly recommend it.

All was clean and welcoming, breakfast very good quality and perfectly cooked. Pleasant lounge to sit in, all that we needed.Quiet and warm, so slept very well.

Location

We chose the location because we were visiting relatives in the area, but this is actually very convenient for Edinburgh thanks to the excellent bus service. We much enjoyed our visits to the National Galleries, though we thought these could be better run - poor signage at times, ill-informed staff, coffee bar dominated by people refurbishing restaurant area, general air of detachment.

I brought my mum to Ednburgh as a early 70th birthday present. We came to have a look around and also to see the tattoo, the whole visit was over 4 days. Would like to visit again when we have more time

We were treated wonderfully in all respects. We certainly received our monies worth. The hospitality was complete and sincere. The home was neat and very clean. Rae and Peter served a most complete well cooked breakfast with a wide variety of selections.

Location

Good, close location to the airport. Easy to catch the bus down to the city center. Rae and Peter were most helpful in giving good directions to the various attractions about town.
