Visitor Reviews of Copper Beech - Overall Rating 4.3

The hospitality was outstanding, exceptionally good and the breakfast was very good. While the standard of our room was very good, we found it a bit on the small side and we are used to a larger shower. Having said that, we would probably have very similar comments about most of the rooms and showers we encountered in Britain and Ireland, so our comment should in no way be taken as a complaint - merely an observation. We were very satisfied with almost all our accommodation in your part of the world and hope to return sometime next year.
Location
We are both keen golfers and Copper Beech was ideally located for that.

The location fit right into our plans. The family that owns the house were so nice and
accomodating, they made us feel right at home.
Location
It was nice to sit down in a quiet house and talk among ourselves without the noise that
the larger hotels come with.

Excellent accommodation. Our room was clean, comfortable and with all the "facilities" we would need for our overnight stay. Food was well presented and prepared We received a very warm welcome upon arrival.

My third stay and every one was most enjoyable. Wonderful room, warm reception, very nice breakfast.
Very accommodating.
Location
Ability to walk to dinner. Actually, Mrs. McLardy drove us to one restaurant!

We were made to feel welcome throughout the stay. Although our room had twin beds, this didn't detract from the overall standard even though we would have preferred a double bed. We had lovely facilities and the extra basket of fruit in our room was a lovely touch. The food at breakfast was fantastic, we could have anything we wanted and nothing was too much trouble.
great value for money and a beautiful house.
Location
Not that much to do in Troon itself, but the surrounding area has lots of gardens, castles and places of interest including Robert Burns' cottage and a bit further afield, New Lanark which is well worth a visit.

Excellent standard of cleanliness, personal requests, plentiful and tasty food in the rooms and on the breakfast table and timely facilities.
Only drops from 'outstanding' to 'excellent' because the TV in the room was broken.
Location
Very easy to reach from nearby Ayr, Prestwick and Kilmarnock (Glasgow also) and of course lovely Ayrshire, despite the cloudy and showery weather.
