The room was very comfortable and the decor was pleasing, enough tea bags in the room also. The staff were very friendly & informative. There was plenty to eat at breakfast and it was good

Location

On a very good bus route,Lothian buses being very cheap(£2.50 for an all day ticket) and reliable. Very easy to get to Ocean Terminal (Leith) if interested in seeing the former royal yacht, Britannia. Lots of choice for restaurants, all within 1/2 mile and a few good pubs too, around Broughton St area

The rooms were clean, the house was lovely and it was easy to get into City Centre. Althought there were moth balls in the wardrobe which really smelt!

Location

Tour bus is really good to see Centre. St Mary's Close is interesting if you want to know a little history. David Bann vegetarian restaurant is the best veggie restaurant I have ever been too.

Conifers was an excellent place to stay, welcoming, helpful, lovely house, great breakfasts, good rooms, clean, well appointed and not far to walk to the centre of the city. I definitely recommend it & hope it's available to stay there again next time in Edinburgh. Thank you Conifers.
