Hi guys,
just stayed 6 days in Clarin guest house.Only one word:fantastic.The structure is a beautiful private scottish house,cleaned 100%,relaxing,peaceful,located close to the city centre.I have been in so many B&B during my travels.In particular what i perceived here,the goodness of this people is very unbelieveble.They helped me in all the ways they could,providing me all what i needed,and really after just one day i felt like in my family.Kim and Andy they are really wonderful persons,they have everything you could need.And even very welcoming.Already i miss them.I thanks these guys hundreds times.The rooms are very ok,spacious,bright and comfortable.Excellent service,excellent house,excellent people,plus very convenient cheap rates!!!What else..Good for family,lonely travellers (like me) and for young people..I think i'll be back again to salute this people and the fantastic Edinburgh.Greeting to Kim Andy and theyr children,thank you for everythings..Marco.
Location
The house is just 1 mile outside the city centre,just what you need to have a good rest away from trafic and noise.10 minutes walking from Princes Street,the main street,from where taking the bus to the airport.All services,pubs and shops just 2 steps walking.

Kim and Andy were excellent hosts and were very nice and helpful. The room was nice and the breakfast was excellent. The fact that the guest house was a walking distance from the main attractions was also a very welcome bonus.

Very comfortable room and a friendly welcome from the owners. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Also some useful advice on where to see the local sights.

Great location to bus routes, clean comfortable room, excellent breakfasts. We weren't able to get an ensuite, so that's my only reason for not giving an outstanding rating.

The room is clean and neat and the hosts are nice and friendly.

I enjoyed the places such as Grassmarket, Edinburgh Castle, National Museum and National Gallery. I wish we could stay for the Edinburgh Arts Festival but too bad we had to be back home and work! :-)

Felt really welcome, room was clean and attrative. Bathroom clean and shower good. Breakfast was excellent. Hosts very helpful with answering questions for touring. All in all a great stay, would go back again if in Edinburgh. Good to have a parking space too, even if it was very cramped.

Edinburgh, of course, if full of history, we walked from the guesthouse to the Royal mile, didn't take too long, but there is a good bus service and excellent taxi service.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petits-déjeuners très copieux qui nous ont été servis, la propreté des lieux, la gentillesse de Kim et Andy ... Nous ne regrettons pas du tout notre choix et sommes prêts à le renouveler pour un prochain séjour à Edimbourg .

Notre guest house était également très bien située: proche du centre tout en étant située dans un quartier très calme .
