A friendly welcome and good quality breakfast did not make up for the tired and dust covered accommodation. Shabby shic is fine but lack of cleaning and dusting is something else!

Location

We know the area well and went back because of what it has to offer----countryside, good grub, interesting visitor sites.......

The room was of a high standard of comfort and decor. The hospitaltiy of Fee, the owner, was first rate. It was great value for money especially as I was served with a great breakfast with a wide choice of food.

Location

There are many local places to visit, including Inverary Castle and Jail. The town itself is set in a beautiful on Loch Fyne with the surrounding hills only adding to scenic and highland setting. There are also many walks in and around Inverary. One in particular is a delightful walk up to Dun na Cuiche, the views on the way up and from the top are wonderful.

* spacious, clean room with a good shower. * very friendly welcome including tea and cakes. * catered well for a vegetarian. * peaceful location. * Having to pre-order breakfast was the only negative feature.

Location

* Ideally placed for visiting the attractions at Inverary (castle and gardens, the gaol etc) and Ardinglass gardens.

Our family of 4 adults was completely amazed by the standard of hospitality - from being welcomed by a young member of the family on arrival to the relaxing breakfast fare accompanied by relaxed conversation with the chief cook and bottle washer. The luxury of the rooms were matched by the comfort of the beds.
