The room was Fantastic, the service was warm and friendly, the food was Excellent, it is close to transport which is fast, the bed was so comfortable we didnt want to get out of it, I could not fault anything about our stay.

Location

It is so close to everything because the bus stop is right out the front, no need for a car for all city attractions and then there are bus tours for all the others. Fantastic, we wish we stayed longer.

I thought that the restriction on breakfast from 8 to 9 was totally inadequate, I missed mine as I had to be away by 7.30. Also that is hopeless for the weekend if you want a bit longer in bed. Struggled to open the window as the sash cords were broken. breakfast was nothing special. generally speaking i thought it did not live up to its billing

Location

Good bus service

Our room was just as good as we had hoped. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast was excellent. A very good value for the money. Our hosts were gracious and helpful. And, Clan Walker is right on the main bus line - which let us walk or take the bus downtown. On-site parking was a big bonus.

The room was basic and a little cramped being in the loft conversion, we did not expect the room to be so small. The hospitality was fine and the food was very good. We didn't realize we were so far from the city centre, it was only a short bus ride and on average 5 taxi fair on an evening. even though we enjoyed our stay w both agree it was not good value for money and when we return we would be looking elsewhere for accommodation.

Location

We visited the castle, royal yaught, greyfriers bobby gravestone etc, museums and underground village on the royal mile. It was special because it was our first visit.

The Walkers were most congenial, accomodating, and pleasant. The breakfasts were great and Annetta was very pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Edinburgh that the Clan Walker house is a great place to stay.

Room was very comfortable with a gorgeous view. Very clean and made up in a cosy yet modern style. The hospitality offered was excellent. We were offered advice on good places to go for visits and food. The facilities within the room were very good, tea and coffee as you would expect and we had the added bonus of a very nice, small ensuite with a shower. Unfortunately the bed was so cosy that we didn't make it to breakfast.

Location

The first day we walked into (and from) the centre of town, it was a very easy walk down one road (if you're feeling lazy) or via a few winding streets if you feel like exploring. It took us half an hour to walk to town, but there is a bus stop very close to the guest house which took us quickly into the very centre of town in the morning. There was an excellent Japanese resturant on Candlemakers Row in the centre which had just opened up and served very good and well priced food, along with delightful service. I recommend it very highly should you fancy a good meal somewhere where you can watch and enjoy the Edinburgh nightlife.

The standard of the room was excellent. It was warm, clean, and the hosptality tray was very gracious. Breakfast was excellent, it tasted great, good quality and quantity as well. We were more than satisfied. The owners were ver helpful giving good advice on how to get around and places of interest to go to.

Location

This was very good. Lots to see and do within walking distance.
