The room was very clean and adequate for a family of four. The breakfasts were excellent with a much greater number of choices than other places we stayed at in London and York. Keith and Susan were very friendly and helpful with suggestions and helpful tips for touring in Edinburgh and beyond. We enjoyed talking with them, and they facilitated interaction with guests from other areas at breakfast. This is a very family friendly establishment and they took a genuine interest in their guests. We would definitely recommend the Cherry Tree Villa highly, and will definitely book there again if we return to Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is an amazing multicultural and historic city. The architectural, historic and geographic attractions are tremendous and well worth the trip to see.

From the moment we arrived they made us feel so very welcome the accommodation was more than comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic and they were extremely helpful with advice regarding transport to the rugby and their mood following a trouncing by the all blacks was to be admired!

Edinburgh has more things to do than you can possibly need and is just a beautiful city.

Edinburgh has so much to see and do. Some of the places we visited and recommend are the Botanic Gardens, The Royal Yacht Britannia, the Camera Obscura and the National Museum. You could easily spend half a day at each of these - and probably a lot more at the museum, which was surprisingly huge! A great city. Also recommend the Mexican restaurant at the furthest end of Rose Street from North Bridge.
