My husband and I are getting older and need more pampering from the places that we stay overnight.
Location
Ft william is very tranquil, beautiful and adventurous part of Scotland and we would recommend it to everyone who loves good walks and just enjoys travelling!

This hostel is absolutely fine for the price you pay, comfy beds, given clean sheets, well equipped kitchen but you do get what you pay for. Its just a little old and in need of a revamp but for what we needed it for ( a place to crash before startimg the 3 peaks) it was perfect.
Location
Its fairly close to town but we had a minibus so was easy, 5 min drive to fort william.

The hostel would benefit from complete refurbishment. Fixtures and fittings are basic and cheap which is fine if the prices reflect this, which they don't. Sound really carries due to the cheap walls and thin carpets. The bedding is not changed in between guests, which seems incredible in this day and age. Heating is storage heaters which quite frankly don't cut it in Scotland. As a consquence, nothing dries and the rooms feel damp. On the plus side, the staff are friendly, there was plenty of hot water and the kitchen facilites were good.
Location
We made the trip specifically to climb Ben Nevis which was well worth doing.

The room was fine for our Group and the receptionist was even kind enough to put a mattress down for an extra person in our Group, very friendly and always happy to help.
Location
As we were up doing the three peak challenge I can recommend Ben Nevis, the views were stunning.

Friendly staff, but the room I was put in had mould on the ceiling. Low standard of cleanliness in communal areas. Reception wasnt open when I needed to check out, even though it wasnt early in the morning.
Location
Close to a local pub for food, but not much else, you need a car to get to town or many other places.
