Very friendly ambience, staff very helpful. Facilities good value for money. I would happily stay there again and would recommend to friends.

Right next to 'Neptune's Staircase' on the Caledonian Canal - excellent views of Ben Nevis (when not in cloud!. Two miles and £8 cab fare from Fort William

The part that is most important to me is cleanliness and that was evident throughout the hostel. Very friendly and obliging couple running the hostel. Will definitely go back there again.

Location

Used this hostel as I walk the hills on a regular basis. At the moment I am munro bagging after that it will be corbetts and after that grahams. I also plan to walk from Glenfinnan to Cape Rath and another one through to Knoydart. With all these walks and hills planned I am sure I will return again and again.

All the amenities there - easy to find - clean

Location

Benavie is the start of many classic walks and trails and is therefore a popular place. Other than that attractions are in Fort William and surrounds. Good information was available on bulletin board

The accomadation was basic, but clean ! I think the price was alittle expensive, i feel £10-£12 is a more fair price.

Location

It's location is not too bad, only a short drive to Fort Bill, which is not ideal if you want to drink. We did walk to the hotel up the road for a drink but it was closed to the public because a Wedding function was on.

Friendly welcome. Small room, but good beds. Several bathrooms, no waiting time. Well equipped kitchen. Quiet place.

Location

Nice location , a hundred yards from Neptune's Staircase. A cross road, many trips can be taken in all directions.

The room and bedding were clean. The staff were polite and friendly. The automatic door closers need to be changed to the type which close quietly, as they slammed shut.

Location

The hostel is situated next to Neptunes Staircase and we had a view of Ben Nevis from our window. It doesn't get much better than that! There was a very nice hotel across the road serving bar meals until 9 pm.
