This is a good value for money establishment. Close to shops transport and restaraunts. The only criticism I have is the washing machine while being a washer dryer does not dry clothes. This makes doing travel laundry very difficult to dry. we stayed for a week and doing laundry was difficult.

The hospitality and standard of the apartment was excellent, although the beds were a little uncomfortable for us personally.

Lovely building. Some of the furniture was pretty shabby(I'm thinking of the small tables in the lounge, for instance)but we loved the secure entry and the window boxes. Also, the daily domestic staff was wonderful...friendly and informative and not at all intrusive. Fully stocked kitchen and loads of places nearby if you're too lazy to cook much (ahem-that'd be us).

Location

We loved being so close to Glasgow Green as we had our 4 year-old son with us. Also, the People's Palace was good, and it was great being so short a distance from Argyle Street. Public transport easy and regular...we took the open top bus tour that passes outside the house, and learned so much more about Glasgow than we would have alone. Recommendations - Museum of Transport,Art Galleries, shopping esp.Buchanan Street/Princes Square. Delicious Indian food at Dhabba a short walk from flat.

It is a older style stone building with an "oldie-worldy" feel. The rooms are tidy and fairly spacious with a good and complete kitchen and fully functional bathroom. The cost was acceptable but no more. We all had a feeling of complete safety in this location a short (10-15 min's) walk from the city, and so close to the Glasgow Green (our destination for the Bagpipe-band World's)

Location

Ideal location for access to the Glasgow Green 100yds away, where there are many level walks and monuments to please the eye. The cathederal and Necropolis is well worth a visit. The shops in the city center are a short level (10-15 min's) walk, and the many great bars and reastuants will satisfy any palate. Local transport was abundant - but we walked everywhere (so I can't realy comment)

A very spacious and homely appartment, with all the essential furniture and facilities to make our stay in Glasgow enjoyable. The apartment was well maintained and the service provided was very good with linen being changed regularly. The kithchen was well equipped and we were warmly welcomed with milk and an initial supply of tea and coffee and a bowl of fruit! (Very much appreciated after a long journey!)

Location

Glasgow Cathederal and St Mungo's Museum are within easy walking distance, well worth a visit together with the Provand's Lordship.(Glasgow's oldest house). The People's Palace and Winter Gardens are within easy reach as is Glasgow city centre with all its shops and restaurant's. The Merchant City itself has plenty of eating places and pubs too! The Glasgow tour bus is well worth going on to see museums on the other side of Glasgow and to hear the very interesting and some humorous commentaries on the various sites around the city. The ticket is valid for 2 days as well, so is well worth it!
