The value for money was reasonable. People were friendly. It is very basic. The room was a little cramped.

Very good location, nice atmosphere at the Guest House - hospitality, value for money.
The problem is only with the breakfast hours - ladies close the kitchen so fast!

At the Refrew Str. there are many cultural attraction such as School of Art, Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Cinema, near there are 2 Theatres and Royal Concert Hall.
The next street is Sauchihall Str., very lively street, with CCA (Centre for Contemporary Art-wonderful place) and at this steet are as well many clubs, bars, restaurants and good shops.
From the Guset House there is very close to the Town Center and other tourist attractions.
It is not far from the University of Glasgow!

Attentive and quick thinking check in. Luggage, breakfast and additional room booking arrangements all transacted readily. Room clean and facilities in good working order. Nice people.
Location
Famous city with tough to negotiate one way road system for cycling. Very pleasant to walk in the city centre in the late evening. Taxis appeared to be available for hire though no hard sell. Good humoured service in shops etc.

There was an abandonded sock under a chair, cobwebs in the ceiling and a srong smell of stale tobacco in the room. sorry!

Clean and nice room in the basement, the bathroom itself was also clean but smelled mouldy. The scottish breakfast was plenty.
Location
The location is very good for visiting the town by foot. Museums, shops and pups are mostly nearby. Buchanan Bus Station is not too far away, so its very easy to go from Glasgow to other places in Scotland by bus.
