The apartment would have been outstanding but it was just the small toilet and shower that affected the mark. Otherwise, everything was the best it could be really. It was lovely to have a cd player and cds but an I pod dock would be much better so that we could play our own music! The ownwer Jim was very helpful and friendly.

Location

Very central excellent location as it overlooked the castle, this made it special.

This bijoux flat has an outstanding location overlooking Edinburgh Castle and is tastefully furnished. It is well equipped and the ownner provided helpful informaton about local facilities. The only drawback was the tiny separate loo and the slightly awkward small shower room, although the electric shower worked very well. It is ideal accommodation for two people. There was a welcome bottle of wine waiting for us and some basic food supplies.

Location

Edinburgh was buzzing with activities for people of all ages and from all over the world, The highlight for us was the Diamond Jubilee of the Tattoo - which was abolutely spectacular. We also enjoyed the tour of Mary King's Close, the Impressionist Exhibiition at the National Gallery as well as many Fringe Shows, street entertainers the local restaurants in the Grassmarket and Rose Street. Even the weather was amazingly warm and sunny which we regarded as an extra bonus!

Very well met by owner. Place clean and refreshments available. Could have benefited from an iron and ironing board. Very homely and comfortable, lots of nice little touches. Excellent location and value for money.

Location

It is Edinburgh, during August, you would have to be dead not to be able to fill your time up! Very helpful festival staff.

We felt the flat was very good value for money. It was warm, comfortable and clean. The owner met us on our arrival and made us most welcome and left us a bottle of wine and tea/coffee and milk which were most welcome. The view from the living room and kitchen on the castle was outstanding.

Location

We found the flat really convenient for all the places of interest in Edinburgh and for public transport links.

The location, quality of facilities and warmth of welcome make this an excellent choice of accommodation.

Location

It would be hard to imagine a more central and convenient location in all Edinburgh, next door to the Castle and all the attractions of the Old Town. The views are outstanding.

Great views of the castle and excellent extremely clean facilities - very good value for money. The owner's even left a bottle of wine for us.The only thing that would make it better for me would be a bath and larger toilet but the view and brilliant location more than made up for that.

Location

worth visiting Arthur's seat on a fine day, the free museums in the Royal mile, the castle and Mary King close
