Good, because I found, what I expected - a "good" standard: frinedly, clean, good breakfast. Room a little bit too little

It was very clean but the breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. Climbing all the stairs was also a bit of a nightmare. But very friendly and helpful.

Location

Hotel very central and enjoyed the bus tour. A great way to see Edinburgh if your stay is a short one!

The Guesthouse is run by a extremely nice family, very helping and understanding, even as our flight came very late, we could still rely on them to open. The view from our room was extraordinary, as we had the Castle room we could see the Castle illuminated at night, and the ocean on the other side. Breakfast was super, but the best was its location: it's like only 70 steps from Princes Street (what more can you ask), so you can reach each and every attraction easily by foot. The best guesthouse we've ever been to. Thank you very much.

Location

There are so many attractions near the guesthouse: there's Princes Street with thousand different shopping possibilities, Scotts Monument, the Royal Mile, the Castle... I really enjoy going to Edinburgh on Hogmanay. It's so eery and charming at the same time. Totally awesome!

A very beautiful and comfortable room with nice views of the castle and sunlight through the window first thing in the morning. The owners were very hospitable and friendly, and made the guest house a very inviting place. Central location without being expensive, and a good breakfast in the morning to send us on our way. Overall, highly recommended - but do take care on those stairs! Thanks again for your hospitality!

Location

We went to the Camera Obscura which has some brilliant views of the city. Definitely worth visiting :)
