good value for money, food was excellent plenty of variety and choice for breakfast.
rooms were clean and cosy, especially the sitting room with coal fire and glass of port, that was provided unexpectedly. Our hosts were extemely friendly and nothing was a bother to them.
Location
plenty to visit and see, for example Queens View and the drive around Loch Tummel.

We had a really lovely stay at the Carra Beag.We arrived late aftenoon to a lovely coal fire. The owners were very nice and made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom, which made for a comfortable nights sleep. On returning from a meal the fire was still lif and a glass of Port and sweeties had been laid out. A really lovely touch which we appreciated. the breakfast in the morning was outstanding.really delicious.

The room was nicely decorated and although it got a little chilly in the room during the night, there were enough blankets to keep us sufficiently warm. The living room was lovely with a fire in the fireplace and when we got back to the guest house after a meal, there was a surprise waiting for us in the form of a sherry nightcap and fudge. It was a thoughtful touch which we were very grateful for! The breakfast in the morning was as much or as little as you wanted and it was good to have a delicious meal before heading out into the woods.

Pitlochry is a lovely, quaint little village which we enjoyed thoroughly. We were hoping to do some fishing but the fishing season for trout had not yet begun and the license for salmon fishing was too expensive for a trio of rookies but we will definitely be back to do some fishing in the near future! The dam and salmon ladder were interesting to see and the walk in the woods and past a waterfall up to Scotland's smallest distillery - Edradour - was lovely! If the weather's not great, I think it would be more difficult to be outdoors all the time but we were lucky with the weather and didn't have much heavy rain.
