Excellent value for money, wonderful cooked Scottish breakfast, beautiful views straight across the Loch, quiet location and not very far a walk to the shops and train station.

Cosy room right on the waterfront. Large room, with great view of the sea. Owner Maggie was delightful and breakfast was great. Close to the centre of town.

We were there for a wedding, which was the main attraction for us. Waterfront is gorgeous.

I have been to this accommodation several times before. The standard of room and facilities is excellent and the breakfast is "out of this world" as you can have anything you want and as much as you want. It is also very good value for money as the rates for the room are very reasonable.
Location
Largs is a lovely town with plenty to do and see and has great restaurants. We were only there for two days so didn't venture very far this time.

Host hospitality was excellent and the traditional Scottish breakfast was extremely good. Some refurbishment is probably due but overall our stay was pleasant.

Excellent accomodation , bedroom was in tip top condition couldn't fault it, and with the ensuite bathroom it was just what we where looking for , and with the view of the Clyde as the sun was going down it was breathtaking , in the dinning room it was full of antiques , just beautiful, breakfast was fantastic , i even got some extra haggis , the staff where very fiendly and my wife and i got on great with them , i would certainly recommend carlton guest house to everyone . five stars

Largs has a lot of things to offer such as amusements , ten pin bowling ,lots of shops pubs and resteraunts plus you can take the ferry over to millport , defenitely a place worth visiting.
