Excellent accomodation , bedroom was in tip top condition couldn't fault it, and with the ensuite bathroom it was just what we where looking for , and with the view of the Clyde as the sun was going down it was breathtaking , in the dinning room it was full of antiques , just beautiful, breakfast was fantastic , i even got some extra haggis , the staff where very fiendly and my wife and i got on great with them , i would certainly recommend carlton guest house to everyone . five stars
Location
Largs has a lot of things to offer such as amusements , ten pin bowling ,lots of shops pubs and resteraunts plus you can take the ferry over to millport , defenitely a place worth visiting.

our room had everything you need including an ensuite but there was a toilet with shower on each floor if you didnt have an ensuite.we had a great view of the sea and promenade. the breakfast was superb, a real scottish effort and our hosts couldnt have been more helpful. would definately go back.

The hosts were considerate of our comfort. They quieted, very nicely but effectively, a noisy guest. The breakfasts were ample and delicious. Our hosts had good info about attractions, etc in Largs and gave good directions. The room was clean, well-furnished, well-maintained, and had a great view. The en suite bath was lovely.

Very welcoming and comfortable. Superb breakfast and will visit again. The only downside being that the shower area needed some minor work in respect of tile problems. Otherwise would have rated as outstanding.
