Beautiful apartment. Spotlessly clean with all the personal added touches of class. Value for money was excellent - we even had an array of breakfast goodies waiting for us from our long drive. Frances and Ian were very easily contactable and even text to make sure we had arrived safely. Wonderful all round!

It was clean, warm and comfortable and the owners were very helpful.

Location

We walked Ben Nevis twice, once via the Tourist path and once via the Carn Mor Dearg arete route to raise money for Help for Heroes. We walked some of the Caledonian Canal-Neptune's Staircase was next door to the accommodation. We had a nice drive around Loch Ness and to Morar and Mallaig. It was only a short trip so we could not do much.

Everything was perfect. We got in late in the evening and no problem meeting up to get the keys. Frances was easily able to accommodate another group who joined us (with a little advance notice). Only complaint would be one bathroom for 6 people, but that seems to be an American complaint! Place was immaculate, all amenities well provided and quite spacious downstairs. We had a wonderful time and appreciated such a lovely place to stay.

Location

Lots of things to see and do. Our particular interest was the Jacobite steam train which was much fun, despite a rainy day.

Standard was generally very good. One or two things were missing, e.g. hooks to hang jackets, towels.

Location

Location was perfect, by Neptune's Staircase and with view of Ben Nevis. Close enough to Fort William without actually being in Fort William.

The hospitality was very welcoming but not intrusive. the accomodation was better than expected. Only one small item the landing floor creaked badly when walked on. Good location.
