Our room was lovely & although we didn't have an en-suite, had the use of a private bathroom right next door. When we went through for breakfast in the morning we were a bit shocked that there was only one table for breakfast which seated 6. There was already 4 people sitting. Not what I expected, but after initial awkwardness, really enjoyed the chit chat & the experience. Breakfast was lovely & the lady of the house couldn't do enough for us & made us feel very welcome. Very homely!
Location
B&B was a very short walk to centre of village. Ideal location to walk around Fort Augustus & see the locks.

Wonderful local feeling. Owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. Her home was neat, clean and welcoming during our stay. Breakfast was delicious--loved the fresh fruit! A wonderful stop as we toured the Highlands.

Lovely lady with a lovely welcome. Made us feel at home and the room had everything required to make it a comfortable stay. The room was also of hotel standard and one of the best on our trip. Breakfast also had lots of choice and was delicious.
Location
Plenty of restaurants and bars, interesting canal lock system and of course the mysterious Loch Ness. A perfect base!

The room was very clean and cosy. The owner a very friendly and helpful person. After having a very good night's sleep we were treated to a delicious breakfast before continuing our journey through northern Scotland.
Location
The B&B is located in the centre of Fort Augustus, very close to the southern bank of Loch Ness, so you can have a nice walk and enjoy the outstanding views around the loch. There is a selection of pubs within 5 minutes walking distance from the cottage, where you can enjoy a meal or a drink in the evening.

We stayed for three nights and had a fantastic time.The room was a good size and very clean.Good value for money. Excellent breakfast.
