The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were great. Very good value for money. Rhonda was an excellent hostess and was very accommodating in making arrangements for us for distillery tours and taxi's.
Location
The nearby distilleries were however exceptional, and the "Hunters Hike" at Laphroig and the cafe at Arberg were highlights of our trip. The towns of Bowmore and Port Charlotte were quite lovely and if I visit again I would stay in one of these towns, likely Bowmore as being a bit larger and very nice restaurants. Also check out the brewery on the Island. Travel by bus was a bit of a challenge, but the postal van was a bit of a novelty and fun.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic with a great choice. Hospitaity was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much.
Location
A walk to the American monument on the Oa is a must. Scenery is stunning with loads of widlife.
There are many distillaries but we only visited Lagavulin and had agreat time (and spent a fortune on their fantastic malts). If you continue along the small road past Ardbeg you will come to a lovely beach a few miles past, wonderful. PS try the Ardbeg Supernova.....fantastic.

Perfect for us with three rooms beside each other. Very friendly and helpful hostess!
Location
We were on Islay for the whisky, so it was perfect! We visited all the distilleries but one (there wasn't time enough).
