We had a very friendly welcome and the accomodation fine. There was a good choice of fare at breakfast with local produce and recipes a feature.We were given ideas for visits and told of local events which made it easy to plan.
Location
We walked to the Soldiers Rock from Kintra and it was well worth the effort; stunning scenery and, whilst we were too late for the birds, sufficient activity to keep us interested. We passed through ruined villages and learned something of local history. The RSPB visitor centre at Loch Gruinart was very informative and we saw a hen harrier.A sunset walk to the monument at the Mull of Oa was outstanding. We enjoyed cycling on the quiet roads.

Rhona & Hamish are really nice and they gave me a lot of information about Islay and the best breakfast of Scotland.
The place is also nice.

Mrs. and Mr.Scotch were very friendly and very hospitable. They gave us many good and helpfull advices. The breakfast was very delicious and the best we got in Scotland. Our room was small, but with a very nice seaview. The whole facility was very clean.

Beautifull landscape, three Destilleries near by, lovely little airport with a nice cafe.

convinient for kildalton cross, ardbeg-, laphroig- and lagavulin distillery or for the ferry to the mainland

Fantastic wiew of the bay in Port Ellen. Very good breakfast. Very cheap.
We had a very good time on Islay.

Nicely decorated rooms and patio overlooking the harbour delightful.

3 local world famous distilleries within 10 minutes drive and a lovely beach.
