Very clean room and bathroom. Nicely decorated. Warm and quite comfortable, although extra bed took up a lot of the space. Reasonable breakfast. Good value for money
Location
Good location in New Town, not far from Waverley Station. Close to pubs and restaurants.

Room nice although a little cramped as in the roofspace. Door and floor occasionally squeaked. Vey quiet though and extremely well located for the city. Parking was an added bonus and the breakfasts were very nice.

Fiona and Freddie gave us a warm welcome and were always kind and resourceful with tourist information. The room was clean and there were plenty of options for breakfast! We had a wonderful stay in Edinbourgh! If we ever go back, we would definitely stay at the Broughton Hotel again!

It was a very centrally placed hotel with excellent hosts. An older establishment but very clean. Breakfast was upto the standard we had previously had in England and the Fred the owner was very helpful towards our sightseeing needs.

The room we were in was perfectly acceptable, if a little tired, we were told that ours was one of the rooms due for a facelift, even so, we were quite happy with it and thought it was well worth the price. The hospitality was first rate, and the breakfast superb with really good quality food. The location was first rate and only a short walk from Princes Street. Fiona was extremely helpful with travel and attraction information. I would not have any problem in recommending this.
Location
This was not our first visit to Edinburgh, but on this occassion we visited the Royal Yacht Britannia, the Zoo and Pandas, and all the daily tours from Waverley Street, a wonderful time.
