rosemary hogg, northern ireland and manchester - 8th December 2007
Cleanliness was superb, breakfast good, although would have liked to see some prunes, etc instead of a tired banana, room good, owner very friendly and helpful although rather disappointed to arrive after a long journey on a freezing cold day with two heavy cases to find a note on the door saying back in 15 mins although when I phoned him he returned much quicker.
good transport links to city and Ocean Terminal although a bit confusing - owners guidance was good and very necessary. Ensuite small but adequate and very very clean!!!! Good value for money
Close to Ocean Terminal (Britannia)Not far on bus or taxi to city centre - a bit confusing to get to city centre but owners help invaluable. Convenient bus to railway station.

Room standard was very good, clean, comfortable and warm. I was made to feel very welcome.
Did not use as I was in Edinburgh for a Conference.

Used as accommodation whilst working nearby. Everything I needed. No hassle management.
Good value I reckon
Lothian Buses and their pricing policy really useful makes travel around Edinburgh comparatively easy and cheap and makes out of centre accommodation like Brig o Doon not a real problem.
