The single room was small, had a skylight but no window with a view. No telephone in room. Two stairs up. It was clean. Bathroom w shower was ok. Good breakfast, friendly host. Value for money ok.

Location

Walking distance to one of the worlds finest botanical gardens. Good bus connections to downtown.

Hosts: Very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast: Enough to eat and drink, always possible to have more. Good service Room: Clean, all necessities available

Location

We used a 2days Edinburgh Pass, costs 36.-- per card. At the end we wonn 93.-- (129.00 - 72.00). All attractions visited were of very good to high qulity and all as interesting the one as the other. Busses for free and so on. Astonishing good buss services from and to the B&B as well as to all other places to visit within the city. Shopping was a real pleasure. What we liked the most: Edinburgh Castle Gladstone's Land The Vaults Murder and Mystery Tour Dynamic Earth .....

Room, especially the bathroom, spotlessly clean. Excellent shower. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Tasty and filling breakfast. Welcoming and friendly staff. Everything operated efficiently without fuss or apparent effort. Excellent value for money.

Location

Situated within two minutes walk of No 23 bus stop the route of which provided a tour of the highlights of Edinburgh. Very useful indeed. Also bus stop immediately outside front gate to Leith from which you could walk to Leith Shore and take a bus to the Ocean Centre and the Britannia. 2.50 for a whole days bus travel excellent value for money. Restaurants provided a high standard of food - especially the fish restaurants.

The room was spotless and very comforable. Excellent value for money and the food etc was great. The only reason I did not giveit an outstanding was that I could not get hot water from the basin tap in the bathroom but the shower was fine.

Location

I was working for the whole time so no comment here - sorry.
