The owners were very helpful, the room very clean and tidy and the grounds were delightfull,The breafast was very good to. I would certainly recommend to family and friends and we would be very glad to use Briar Lea House on our next visit to Scotland. On the whole a really value for money B&B, a credit to the owners.

Quite good ,Comfortable beds,good shower, full breakfast, but only a door seperated our room from strangers,so some noise and unwanted light. Very helpful, good guidance regarding eating out.

The owners were very friendly,welcoming and helpful. Choice of menu was good and food was excellent. Room was clean and well appointed.Bathroom was very big. Would recommend it to anyone.

We used it for a wedding in Gretna Green.Was handy for there. Longtown is nice quiet place.Not many tourist attractions though

We had four rooms in total and they were all very spacious, clean and well equipt.
The owners were very friendly and hospitable, even with 10 people desending on them all at once.
Good choice of breakfast. Excellent value for money.

Didn't have enough time to visit local area, but somewhere we would like to return to.

Very friendly welcome - clean - everything that we needed was available - breakfast was very satisfying. The proprietor had checked our route for any travel problems without being asked - a pleasant surprise.

Great standard of room - very homely. The couple who run it are very welcoming and really interested in you. There is nothing too much for them to do - even booked up a table for us in the best place to eat in town!
