Visitor Reviews of Briarbank Guest House - Overall Rating 4

Certainly a very comfortable B and B and we were made most welcome.
It could be argued that Briarbank was a little on the expensive side compared with other B and B's we stayed at during a seven day holiday based on Oban/Tobermory/Acharacle/Mallaig/Sconser/Plockton and finally Aberfoyle.

Excellent hosts, food also excellent but those steps up are not for the fainthearted but we would stay there again
Location
Used Oban as a base for visiting Staffa. Oban itself is also a beautiful town to visit and the Cuan Mor restaurant and the Chocolate Factory just made all the difference between good and very good

1. Very late arrival ( after midnight due to delayed ferry from Barra), but warm welcolme by Julie Grove
2. Went the extra mile when my mobile phone cut out unexpectedly ( rang my home address )
3. Excellent breakfast
4. Very confortable room, shower gel and shaving gear provided.
5. Provided an alarm clock that I could actually program to wake me up in the morning.
