The rooms were beautiful, the area was very quiet so we slept very well, and hospitality was excellent. Breakfast was also perfect, with a wide choice of products to compose it, and it was nicely prepared. We shall definitely come back to Braeside Guest House next time we come to Oban.

Location

Oban is a beautiful harbour and an ideal base for cruises to Mull or to Fingal's cave. To visit Fingal's cave however, a whole day is necessary from Oban because ferries leave early in the morning and come back rather late in the evening. Oban has plenty to offer (beautiful shops and helpful people at the Tourist Information), even our children enjoyed their stay here. Next time we shall stay longer.

an excellent friendly guest house with a clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast menu was outstanding, far above the norm. the view from the dining room was beautiful.

idealy situated guest house just outside of oban,ideal for touring and trips to the isles,(mull, iona & staffa) highly recommended.

good value for money excellent home cooked breakfast, shower/washing facilities only acceptable, room for improvement.room good but rather cluttered.

Location

Lovely scnery and a short distance from minor roads with easy acess to the hills with outstanding views.

Jon and cherry were very friendly and helpful. Cherry is an excellent cook and the meals deserved to be 10 star. How lovely it was to enjoy a wee drink and enjoy the scenery out of the picture window in the dining room after exploring all day. I would highly recommend this B&B. Avril and Angela

Our only reason for not rating this establishment as excellent, was the small size of our room. Hospitality and food ratings would be in the excellent category.

Location

For us, wishing to get away from it all - the location was very special. Having a red squirrel feeding a foot away from one's bedroom window was unforgettable.

Our room was ok, personally not fond of the basin in the room but in this situation there was no choice. spotlessly clean and loved the little touches of chocs beside the bed. Out of four nights we had dinner three times and the food was excellent and such a great choice for such a small venue. Nothing was too much trouble for Cherry and John they are delightful people.

We had been to Oban before but not south. Our stay at Kilmore proved perfect for visiting so many places. We will definitely be returning.
