Braeside was very easy to find as it sits right on the on the main road from Oban. Hosts Cherry and John were very hospitable. Parking behind the house was great. Our room was very comforatble and nicely appointed and had a nice view towards the lake. The stall shower was difficult to get the correct water setting and seemed small but other than that everythng was great. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Free Wi Fi was very nice too. Hosts Cherry and John were very hospitable. We'd certainly stay there again.

John and Cherry made us feel particularly welcome at the Braeside.Nothing was too much trouble for them and we felt very much at home there. The food was excellent, particularly the smoked salmon & scrambled egg breakfast!!! Our room was very good, clean, warm and comfortable. If I had to criticise one thing it would be the fact that the hand basin was in the room, whilst the toilet and shower were en suite. A small irritation but cetainly not important enough to spoil what was a very pleasant stay.
Location
Oban is a lovely place and we have stayed in the town several times. We have caught ferries from there and used it as a base to explore the surrounding area. Fort William, Seil Island, Cruachan and the Ardnamurchan area are all worth a visit.

Room accomodationa, food preparation and guest hoptality were really excellent. A nice peaceful place to stay and a good starting point for visiting the region. Value for money excellent too.

Argyl region, Mull island ana western highlands are easily reachable form there.

Lovely room but no view. Excellent hospitality and food was wonderful. Very nice countryside location.

Location is very good for trips to Mull Island and other small islands. Also found Oban a very interesting town.

Location was great (outside Oban in the countryside). The owner made us feel welcome and served fantastic breakfast. The B&B also has a bar. The room was relatively small, but had a great view.
Location
We appreciated the owner's recommendations on hidden sights off the beaten track.
