The room was very good, lovely and clean, it was not en suite however which is always preferable (we did know before going that this was the case but as we were unable to find anything else in Ullapool itself, we accepted this) the host and hostess were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent.
I would recommend it to others
Location
As we were getting the early morning ferry over to Stornoway we did not see much of the area. The sun was shining and everything looked lovely.

A very warm welcome, outstanding hospitality, perfect clean, very comfortable rooms, a very tasteful breakfast, one -if not the best- of the best B&B-addresses we ever joined.

A perfect B and B im Scotland. A beautiful place to stay. Everything was more then perfect. Wonderful room and bathroom. Warm welcome, excellent breakfast, with colorful fresh fruits.
We would like to go back for a much longer stay!

Chambre aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et de recherche. Accueil des plus agréables. Produits frais servis au petit déjeuner. Une excellente étape.

hospitality was excellent! we got a very warm welcome. the little extras such as heather on the bed and toiletries and bathrobes. we were also able to get a bottle of wine and sit in the lounge to watch t.v. Breakfast was first class and i would have no hesitation on recommending this establishment to anyone. My mum has difficulty in walking and we were able to bring the car to the entrance and bags were carried up for us. First class!

we were just there for an overnight stop from ferry from Stornoway to Ulapool. the highland pottery is definately worth a visit and the next day although not planned went on a round trip to Lochinver and back - can't quite remember the name of the place Auchltbea? but the views on the round trip were stunning! worth doing. and also visiting the highland pottery at Lochinver where we made several purchases. On our road home stopped at the highland perfumery - again worth a visit and nice cafeteria!
