parking available outside guest house but if you fly into Edinburgh or arrive by coach or train there is a public bus service into the city right outside the door. You need to travel into Edinburgh to view places of interest but you are well situated to travel to many other Scottish history sites as I have done over the years because I have my own transport. The hosts always make you feel welcome on arrival and home made shortbreadis waiting for you by the tea and coffee making facilities in your room.
