We were made very welcome in this lovely home,and the lady of the house could just not do enough for us.She even came and collected us in her car when we arrived in Campbeltown.Our rooms were excellent and we had the use of a very spacious and beautifully furnished lounge with wide screen television all to ourselves.The view from the lounge over Campbeltown and the loch was spectacular.The breakfasts that this lady made were out of this world.Beautifully cooked and presented,and plenty of it.We all four of us cannot praise this guest house enough and would sincerely recommend it to all.

Location

We were there to trace the family ancestry and found the local library,cemetary records and local residents very helpful.We have so far managed to trace back 300 years.The place is seeped in Scottish history in and around Campbeltown.Unfortunately we were not there long enough to take in all the sightseeing we would have liked to,but we will certainly return to do so.

High standards throughout. Outstanding location and views over the loch.

Scenery, bird life etc outstanding. Town itself a wee bit shabby in places but some of the architecture and locations are fantastic. The drive down is an experience in itself.

We both really enjoyed our stay, the house was lovely and spotless and Catherine was really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was brilliant and the rooms were very comfortable.
