Too many stairs. Had I known the 38 stairs to our rooms, I would have booked lower rooms. It should be stated on their site. Besides that, an excellent place to stay. Staff very helpful!

A good, simple B&B. Decent value for money in a handy location. Modern, clean shower/loo facilities, but with old vinyl flooring. Friendly, helpful owners. A budget place to stay in an expensive city.

Friendly people, clean, cozy room, quiet area. Near main bus routes, breakfast was alright and the price of the room was very good for the month of august. A nice experience, would repeat again.

Blossom House was good value for money and convenient to central Edinburgh; we could walk into town with ease. Mohammad was very helpful.

The Indian Restuarant near the b & b in Minto Street was excellent; think it was called Vujoun. Generally, all the restuarants were good. We also found the people at the information office near the station to be very helpful. The tattoo and events were memorable.

We stayed for six nights and had to move to three different rooms during our stay. However we got some money off and a granteed parking space. The staff were lovely and helpful. We were able to come and go as we pleased. The b and b was well situated to be able to walk back and forth to the city centre. There was a big selection for breakfast but you only have an hour to go to breakfast. The rooms were nice and comfortable.

We were there for the fringe festival and so caught food on the go. We loved the Dram house for comedy. And The Three Sisters who did a lovely hog roast.

Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment - no bacon on the cooked breakfast and instant coffee rather than real coffee in the cafetière...but otherwise a reasonably pleasant 1 night stay.

Location

The Reverie bar/restaurant(1-5 Newington Road) just a few metres up the road from Blossom House is a great place to eat. Good food, good beer and a great selection of malt whiskies.

I went there to visit Edinburgh: I visited the castle, the Holyrood palace and the Royal Mile.
