We would class the accommodation as very good. We did expect a full ensuite in our room , but had our toilet out in the passage. The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were extremely helpful, and obliging.

Location

The tattoo of course. Visit to Dunfermline Abbey, Glen, Andrew Carniegie birth place & museum was very interesting.Stirling castle was amazing.

Room was acceptable but not good, broken toilet seat, very poor breakfast, no bacon very bad hard sausage very small amount of beans in fact just poor. Landlord and landlady very nice very obliging and helpful, but sorry to say just not worth the money quite expensive for what it was. Good bus service into town, but walking advertised as about 10/15 minutes, just not true to get to the Royal Mile by walking would take about 30/40 minutes.

Location

All of Edinburgh is great, the tattoo was fantastic, The Royal Botanic Gardens are worth a visit but leave plenty of time for a good look round. Prestige Scotland restaurant at the Botanic gardens very good, as was The Standing Order in George Street good value for money.

Host was very accommodating. Willing to be flexible with breakfast times. House and rooms were very clean I was surprised to find shampoo/conditioner in rooms. My complaints would to say that the beds were very uncomfortable, one could feel the springs through the mattress. Also in room 3 the furniture layout was very awkward. Particularly where the corner of the bedside table hung over the bed so every time my husband turned over he hit the corner. In the end we asked for an extra pillow to block corner. The location was excellent, we walked into the center each day. Breakfast was very good lots of choices of food.

Location

We were there to attend the Fringe, the Indian restaurant just a few hundred yards from the Blossom house was very good. I can't remember the name but it began with V.

Too many stairs. Had I known the 38 stairs to our rooms, I would have booked lower rooms. It should be stated on their site. Besides that, an excellent place to stay. Staff very helpful!

A good, simple B&B. Decent value for money in a handy location. Modern, clean shower/loo facilities, but with old vinyl flooring. Friendly, helpful owners. A budget place to stay in an expensive city.
