Room was adequate. It was clean and comfortable. Could do with a bit of a makeover but it wasn't dirty.
The owner of the Guest House was wonderful. He was so pleasant and couldn't do enough for us.
I would stay there again.

The house is old and the interior could use some facelift. The toilet and shower on the top floor had a loose shelf and no rack for the toilet roll, again- could use some mending to.
The host was friendly and helpful.
Location
The Blossom House is well located in the middle of Edinbourgh. Busses into the city stop just outside and what a city it is!
I recomend taking sightseeng tour with one of the sightseeng buses and dont miss out on the bus and bout tour to the Forth of Firth to look at the Firth Bridges and the wonderful little towns by the water.

Great hospitality: Bazil was exceptionally helpful & friendly and I'll definitely recommend. Only downside was the thinness of the wall behind the bed in my room but that was basically as it was a classic and understandable conversion within the confines of an old house. Great value with basic good comfort together with a good breakfast!
Location
Edinburgh is a mine of information, tourist desitations and all within easy accesss. Enjoyed the Royal yacht Britannia and the tour of the Highlands.

The owner was very charm and servicial, but the house wasn´t ok. The family room was very little and sad. One bed wasn´t well and I ask for a double bed and two single beds, and my room was with four single beds. He offers me the possibility to change to a room as I solicitated, but I refused as I have to wait for it two hours and I prefer to expend my time visiting the city. The bathroom was very very little and old.
Location
It was far from the centre and if I compare it with Ardross House in Inverness as both of them have de same price, Inverness´Guest House was much better in location, in comfortable, in decoration, in the building, bathroom and with better breakfast.
If I have to repeat or to recomend the houses, of course I recomend Ardross Guest House, but never Blossom House.
