Our stay at Birches was realy great.The accomodation was realy nice and very comfortable I would recomend.The standard of the rooms was realy good and very comfortable especial the bed my son just loved it.The view from the front room was outstanding and realy made a big difference to our stay there. I found the owners to be very freindly. We had a fantastic time.

Lynette and Mark are very welcoming people. The accommodation was quite basic but clean. I would add however that we would book with them again. The experience was fun it was like when we were first married 40 years ago. Mark and Lynette were always on hand to help out with any questions we had and it was lovely to be able to bring our dog.

Locality is excellent for the town centre.

It had adequate space and was clean. A tea pot would have been nice, instead of just a pitcher for brewing tea. There was a roomy shelf over the sink in one of the bedrooms, which was nice. The owner was very accomodating, purchasing groceries before our arrival and taking our luggage to our tour bus at our departure.

Location

We visited Ben Nevis, Glencoe, and rode the Jacobite steam railway, all very close. There is a very good used bookstore in town and the owner was very helpful. We also drove to Loch Ness and Culloden.

Very friendly and exceptionally helpful owners. good location with stunning views.Plenty of space. could have done with some washing facilities for clothes.clean but basic.

Location

without a car its still possible to explore a lot of the area as good (if infrequent) trains and buses.careful planning opens up lots of new areas.

Very good value for money, very friendly reception on arrival and during our stay. Accomodation clean and warm (despite snow outside) and well equipped. Fantastic view from the living room window!

Location

Fort William is ideally situated as a hub for many excellent locations. Also first class facilities in the town itself with superb walks nearby and kayaking in local lochs. Taking the nearby ski-lift up to the snow line to do some walking was amazing and walking up Nevis Gorge after a snow fall the night before just took our breath away.

value for money very good. basic accommodation. only two wine glassses.

Location

good climbing area, great to walk into town in the evening and eat out.
