The room was spacious, well-appointed and included lovely linens on a very comfortable bed. We did not stay on an evening when dinner was served, but breakfast was excellent! Enjoyed the warm, gracious, and helpful atmosphere provided by the owners.
Location
We selected this location because of its proximity to Hadrian's wall. Since we were motoring for two weeks in Scotland and Wales, it enabled us to be close to our first historical destination for that day. We look forward to returning to Bessietown Guest House when we are in GB in two years.

Welcoming, friendly hosts. Room of the highest standard. Attractive, comfortable decor. A most attractive country setting.Hosts extremely helpful in detailing local areas of interest. The hosts provided dinner at the B&B and we had a great night with other guests and with the hosts joining in wiht the fun. The bar was well stocked and worked on and honesty system. I cannot speak highly enough of this B&B. It is 5 star and deserves every one of the five stars.
Location
Our stay at Bessiestown was one of the highlights of our trip and we will always remember our stay there. Hadrians Wall,Howsteads, Lanacoste Priory and St Cuthbert's Church, Bew Castle and Church, were all fantastic places to visit. We had a ball!!

The room was really nice and clean and we hope to come back for next visit in Scotland or in the north of England.
The food was very good and the boss was gentle and simpatic.
Location
We like a lot the Hadrian's wall expecially the fort of Housestead and the simpatic attraction for our children that we have find in Birdoswall.
