Dunvegan castle was overpriced for what there was to see and do compared to others but the rest of the Isle of Skye was wonderful

My Wife and I had he most wonderful stay at this house - the home - of two of the friendliest, happiest people we have ever met. We were treated like part of the family from the moment we arrived and nothing seemed too much trouble for them in making our stay enjoyable. The bedroom was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable with every amenity and Wifey just loved the squashy soft bed. Bathroom had a shower in it too and as elsewhere was spotless. Breakfast was whatever we wanted and with fresh coffee too! Value for money was excellent. Going back? You bet!!!

What made it special for us? On our first visit to the Highlands and Islands we were taken by the friendly welcome from the people there. The little we saw of Skye was of a contented people and made us feel we will definitely go back but for longer. The scenery was wonderful - the view of all the other little islands, the white cottages... I could go on and on...

Our room was beautiful, modern, clean and comfortable. The sea view from the little window from our bed was gorgeous. Our hosts were very welcoming and passed on valuable information so that we could make the most of our two night stay. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful and the whole package was very good value for money.
Location
The Isle of Skye was spectacular in the lovely sunshine we were lucky enough to have. We toured the whole day and saw a great deal of the island, just experiencing the endless fabulous views. We loved the one track roads and were amazed at the lack of traffic!

Mrs & Mrs MacMillan were perfect hosts and the accommodation was perfect-the cleanest B/B we have stayed in and better than a good lot of hotels we have used. Everything was provided and a few extra touches to make us welcome. As we are a couple in our 60's we appreciated the care given to make sure we had all our needs met
Location
A perfect place to stay in for setting off each day to tour at our own pace. The owners had loads of helpfull leaflets and maps as well as advice on places to see and visit
