The owners were friendly and welcoming. The lodge was very comfortable and well equiped. Everything you would need for a self catering holiday was provided, from a dishwasher to wine glasses! The lodge was very clean and electricity, heating was included in the cost and not on a meter. The lodges are in a lovely setting, with your own outdoor seating area and parking space.

Location

The lodge is in a good location for visiting various attractions in the highlands. Fort William is a couple of miles away, where we were able to shop and had a game of ten pin bowling. Your view outside of the lodge is Ben Nevis, which offers various outdoor activities. Glencoe is about fifteen miles away, with visitors centre and various walks. We spent a day at Fort Augustus and looking for Loch Ness, a boat trip is available on the loch. We had a great day on the Isle of Sky, which you can go to by road or car ferry. We had a trip to Mallaig, which you can do again by road or on a steam train. Along the way to each are various stops at monuments, castles, walks by the lochs. We spent a week, but there was still alot we could have seen and done.

This is self catering accommodation. The chalets are very clean and well equipped. The owners are very helpful and obliging.

Location

We have always found Fort William a good centre to see a number of places. We had a very enjoyable trip to Mull. two restaurants we found to be of a high standard. Russells at Spean Bridge and the Browns restaurant at Nevis Hotel Hope this is helpful

Very friendly welcome, lodge was exceptionally comfortable and well equipped. Very peaceful, relaxing situation with wonderful views of the mountains. Just what we were looking for.

Location

The lodge was well placed for travelling to local attractions. I liked the fact that it wasn't in Fort William itself but was close enough to take advantage of all the amenities. Particularly enjoyed trip up to Lower Falls in Glen Nevis and a run out to Glenuig, stopping off at Glenfinnan. On the recommendation of our host, we enjoyed a nice lunch in the atmospheric bar of the Glenfinnan House Hotel.

The accommodation was excellent, everything and anything you would need on a self catering holiday. The chalets are about 1.5 miles outside of Fort William, a nice easy walk if you like a few beers. All in all a lovely place, fantastic hospitality, I would certainly recommend Ben View lodges to anyone

Location

Unfortunately when we where there the weather was very bad, and we were not able to do a lot of the activity's we would of liked. But saying that there is still so much to do and see, remember to take your camera, there is something worth a photo around every corner.

All four of us found the mattresses were too hard and could feel the springs. We thought the facilities were outstanding.

Location

Tourist information good, places to visit very good. Gondola ride just north of Fort William is a must. We were on motor bikes and went to the most westerly point of Scotland/British Isles, what an adventure for bikers.
