It is a picturesque traditional crofters cottage with a coal fire in the sitting room. Other heating in the cottage is supplied via plug-in electric heaters. The upstairs has height restrictions - even normal height people need to watch their head. We had the utmost hilarity over it, not finding it a problem at all, and now that we are home, I really miss the cottage. It is at the end of the lane, and so is very private, with absolutely fabulous views of the hills and glen behind, and Staffin bay and Flodigarry Island in front. The sunsets are fabulous! The fire was burning cheerfully when we arrived ......... sigh!
Location
Staffin Bay is a picturesque township with a small beach and slipway for boats. It boasts a shop with a restaurant next door, a small garage/shop. St. Columba 1400 centre, where not only do they do great food, but hire internet time on their computers for a small fee. If you have your own computer, the WiFi is an even smaller fee. Skyelight Candles worth a visit. Going north and turning left onto The Quiraing hills (amazing! stupendous!) drive into Uig - pottery, brewery, food, garage, shop and ferry to the Outer Isles. Drive south from cottage, Kilt Rock, Storr Lochs, and The Old Man of Storr, and drive down into Portree, which is a magical place to visit... sigh!

Tranquil little cottage in beautiful location. Coal and electricity included in price. Owners very friendly and could not be more helpful. Highly recommended.
Location
Located in Staffin in the north of Skye. While only 16 miles from Portree the village has everything you need including (in the nearby Columba 1400 Centre) good internet connection and cafe. The island is one of outstanding scenic beauty, great for hillwalking.

Even though the accommodation was somewhat simple it had such a wonderful feel about it and was everything we had imagined it to be and more and wouldn't hesitate to go back again.
Location
Everywhere on Skye has something to offer and this is no exception, from the Trotternish ridge, the Storr and Quirang to the wonderful bay and amazing coastline, what a place.

House was beautiful, we were very comfortable. The views are stunning. We hope to return next year.
Location
Perfect location for getting around Skye, we visited Dunvegan Castle, Skyeskyns at Waternish (just lovely), Broadford, Plockton, Kyle of Lockalsh. Portree is a lovely town, has all the amenities and restaurants you would ever require, which is where the home is located. Skye is a very special, tranquil and beautiful island to visit.
