Billy Shaw and his wife made us feel very comfortable from the moment we stepped through the door.
As I live in Lanzarote it was very nice that they had the central heating on !!!!!
The rooms were of an outstanding standard / all ensuite / t.vs tea / coffee / chocolate and biscuits in all rooms / safe and ironing facilities and the rooms were very nicely furnished and decorated. A very nice choice of breakfasts/ Both the dining room and lounge were very good. I would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone who is going to stay in Ayr. My compliments once again to Mr and Mrs Shaw / top marks from us. Sheila

Hospitality was excellent nothing was too much trouble, rooms very clean, added extras in room like mints with coffee, breakfast very good lots of choice, excellent value for money have paid a lot more for a lot less, would not hesitate to recommend the Belmont to any of our friend and would definately stay there again on our next visit to Scotland.
Location
Visited Burns Cottage and Tammy Shanta museum good value for money, lovely walk to cottage from sea front.
We were also amazed at how friendly and helpfull the people of Ayr are Congratulations
