Extremely clean and comfortable accommodation, very friendly and helpful proprietresses, fruit and yogurt for breakfast as well as cooked items.
Location
Kirkwall is a lovely little town and Orkney itself is an outstanding place from the point of view of history, prehistory, and beauty. Moreover, Skaill Bay is a wonderful surfing spot.

Everything you could ask for and better than most hotels costing a lot more!

Handy for Kirkwall and the surrounding attractions.

The room at the Bellavista was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and we had two excellent nights of sleep. The people were welcoming and helpful, the most welcoming of anywhere we stayed in our 16 day tour. The Bellavista provided free internet access including a computer to use. They served the best porridge ! and the rest of the breakfast was excellent - fresh cheese and homemade marmalade to top it off.
The signage for the Bellavista could be made more visable from the road.
Location
The Bellavista is located a little outside of the town centre - which we thought was perfect. We had no trouble getting form there to the sites that we were interested in visiting.

Everything excellent. Walking distance from Kirkwall was a very slight negative as the weather was cold and rainy on a few days. We did not have a car. However we would gladly stay there again.

Great location to catch the ferry to the northern islands.

The hostess was most friendly and helpful. The facilities are more than confortable (eg. room and lounge). Internet access is also really helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and generous.

Everything was to a high standard and resulted in a very comfortable stay for a very reasonable price.
Location
Unfortunately work duties resulted in little tourism- but it's a beautiful place.
