Familiar and a very comfortable staff. Really is not staff, it's a friendly family. I will return. Totally recommended.
A great and complete continental breakfast. Good room and wonderful views.
Location
Close to Kilt Rock and the big fall. Five miles far, near Quiraing, there is a pretty mountain pass with an incredible view.
Also is near Portree the capital of Skye island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Skye. Beinn Edra House is located in a beautiful part of the island. Having driven to the other side of Skye, we are of the opinion that we couldn't have chosen a better location. There are villages close by in which you can have a meal or a snack, and the nearest pub can be reached in a short 5-10 minute drive. Our hosts at Beinn Edra House were very friendly, helpful, and welcomed us warmly into their home. The bedroom is lovely with plenty of storage space, and comes with access to a private bathroom which is large and spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend Beinn Edra House.
Location
One of the highlights of our trip was a walk to the Old Man of Storr (the start of the walk is just a short drive from Beinn Edra House). It doesn't even need to be good weather to appreciate it - the rock formations were hauntingly majestic in the rain and mist. It is a stunning view from the top. Other places nearby which are well worth a visit are the Small and Cosy Tea House (Staffin), Trotternish Art Gallery, and the Croft Museum. Portree isn't far away either and I recommend the Prince of India restaurant (friendly service and the food is beautiful). We only had a short stay on Skye so are looking forward to discovering more interesting places when we return one day.

Hospitality was incredibly great, very approachable and warm. All cleaned neatly. We were delighted with our comfortable room. The house looks new and careful. Full and delicious scottish breakfast. We felt as if we had been at home, thank you Rachel. It's value for money.
Location
The old man of Storr...outstanding!!! There is a convinient path to get the summit. Also there is an amazing view from the top of this mountain (Better without rain if you don't want to get soaked, because over there It doesn't matter whether you wear a raincoat or not) anyway, It's really worth seeing and walking even raining, we enjoy ourselves a lot!!!
