Most hospitable hosts, very friendly and helpful.Food was excellent with a good choice and the room was large with good en suite facilities.Overall everything was very good value for money.

Location

Our second visit to Skye proved a great experience, good weather helping to make touring the island a pleasure.Eating establishments close to Bealach Uige were few but the Columba resaurant nearby was good value.Stunning scenery and spectacular sunsets.

The unit we had was beautifully furnished and very private, but we were able to freely use the lounge room and other areas. This meant we did not feel confined in the way that most B&Bs tend to do. Joanna and Alan were wonderful hosts.Breakfast was excellent. We will have no hesitation recommending Bealach Uige to friends.

Location

The B&B is well situated, with the Old Man of Storr close by and several fantastic walks. It is the perfect location to explore the rest of Skye.

Amazing location, beautiful rooms, hospitality was perfect. The couple running the B&B are young and energetic, were more than willing to talk to us about our trip and give us suggestions for stuff to do around Skye. Breakfast was authentic and huge (they raise their own hens and use those eggs). They were the reason our trip went so well. I couldn't recommend this place enough, next time we are on Skye we hope to book their B&B again. Totally worth every penny.

Location

If you want to have everything really close by this might not be the B&B for you, but we rented a car and were able to drive around the island and see everything (we put around 1000 miles on our rental trying to soak up as much as possible). The location added to the magic, and we really felt like we couldn't have found a better place to stay.

Hosts were very hospitable and welcoming and accomdation was lovely standard with nice clean bathrooms and delightful living room and breakfast room. Delicious substantial breakfast. Hosts' 3 yr daughter was lovely and as we had two young children we felt very at ease with another small child in the house and our children enjoyed having someone to play with.

Location

The location was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing but with easy access to any location on Skye that one would want to visit.

Our room was lovely and more over comfortable! A true home from home, great breakfast especially the porridge!, as well as warm hospitality from Joanna and her husband. The value for money is excellent and we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Skye.

Location

great local sightseeing and hiking as well as local shops to include pottery/sheepskins and fine dining restaurants such as the Three Chimneys and Kinloch Lodge

we spent 2 weeks in Scotland and Englad. This is the best B&B we ever stay in the UK. The owner is a young couple who is very friendly. We love the farm style design in the house and room. We can see the owner put a lots of effort to run this business. The breakfast is fantastic. Nothing bad to say about it...excellent for everything.

Location

On the way to staffin, the view is stunning. You can see a lot's of hingland cows alongside the road.

The welcome and hospitality we enjoyed was second to none!Breakfast was without doubt the best I have ever had in all my years travelling!!I stayed B&B in the inner Hebrides about 12 years ago and I cannot believe how much the standard of accommodation has risen.

Location

We found the scenery in the Outer Hebrides breath taking on all the islands we visited but I have to say our favourite was Harris! All the people we met were so friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for us! The one problem we did encounter was trying to get something to eat on Sunday! If it hadn,t been for a very kindly and competent hostess in our B&B we would have gone to bed hungry on Sunday night. Absolutely no restaurants open on Sunday. The tourist board would need to address this problem.
