The best B&B I have stayed at, and I have stayed at many, lovely people who go to great lengths to ensure everything, i.e rooms and food, is catered for at the highest level possible.

Location

The B&B is situated on the seafront, there is a lovely harbour with cliff and woodland walks, many restaurants, cafes and small shops close to hand, Dunnottar Castle which is worth a visit, and Aberdeen is not far away.

Fantastic location in front of the beach and in the town centre. Very confortable room. Fantastic breakfast

Location

Dunnottar castle is in 5 minutes by car and it is in a fantastic place, maybe one of the best of Scotland. Aberdeen is very close.

Very comfortable room; beach view, peaceful, excellent bathroom with great shower, heating on, great bed. Excellent breakfast - best porridge ever. Lovely hosts. Value for money - not as cheap as some alternatives but a superb level of service compared to others at this price. Very relaxing after some hard traveling.

Location

Right on the beach. lovely 10 minute walk (max) to the harbour and restaurants. We didn't tour but there is a great castle ruin nearby. 15 minutes to Aberdeen - Unless you want to do nightlife in Aberdeen would pick this over all but perhaps a couple of B&Bs in the city if you are visiting the city for a couple of days. Ships Inn was good and there are 2 other dinner places in the harbour - there are also several other restaurants in town across the price range.

Very helpful owner, we messed up with the booking dates and he provided very kind assistance in fixing matters for us. Also very nice place to stay with beautiful seaview. Highly recommended

The room was small but cozy, the big bathroom made up for the smallness though! Very very friendly service, and an outstanding breakfast. Value for money.

Location

Dunnottar Castle, obviously. Nice small town with good restaurants and the beer selection @ Marine Hotel is worth a visit too. Close enough for other scottish castles etc.
