The caravan was comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.
Location
The grocery shop was just across the road and it was well stocked - easier than shopping at home!. The closeness of Balranald Bird Reserve and beautiful beaches was wonderful. The roads were easy to navigate with no hold-ups. We enjoyed watching and travelling on the ferries. A pre-arranged visit to St.Kilda islands (from Berneray) was one of the highlights of our visit to the islands. We have visited the Outer Hebrides before on one-day excursions from the mainland but the first time we have stayed. We will most likely come again to enjoy its peace and tranquillity and further exploration.

the island of north uist, benbecula,south uist, berneray & eriskay are just wonderful, great people, great beaches! shortage of eating out places.petrol very expensive
