Warm and friendly. Welcomed us with tea on arrival in their living room. Allowed us to help on the farm and then hike on their farm the following morning.

The house is charming and has its own personality and history. The place are very nice and the hospitaly great: they have given us enough information and good advises for our journey.

We had a really nice stay. Everything was very good, the quality of the room, cleanliness, we had a very warm welcome and a good night's sleep. In the morning the breakfast was excellent. Couldn't have been better.
Location
We were only on a flying visit on our way to somewhere else, so didn't visit any local attractions.

We had a great time being at the Farm. Even though our hostess had to leave, we were well cared for by Mary and Hattie. We were allowed to wash some clothes and "hang out" around the house to catch our breath a little. We appreciated being made to feel like family.
Location
We were directed to the local pub, Tigh an Truish, for a late dinner the night we arrived and enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner the next night. (A great way to get to see some local color.)

Large, bright room, charming furniture, quiet, privacy looking out the windows onto their large property. Ensuite newly updated. Was a little more expensive but well worth it! The breakfasts were the best we had anywhere, great attention to detail. Our host is a naturalist and greatly helped us in planning our days and supplying us with detailed maps of the area. We felt welcomed and treated as friends.
Location
We wanted a quiet place to stay, outside the bustle of Oban. It was perfect for us and close enough to travel there for dinners, only 6 miles away. We were close to the Isle of Seil where we explored my family decendants from 200 years ago. Lovely tourist daytrip for anyone wanting an adventurous drive, lovely scenery and a dinner out at the Trig an Troush (House of Trousers Pub).

The room was very comfortable indeed. Morag and Jamie were extremely friendly and helpful (especially by allowing us to leave our car at their farm whilst we went on a cycling trip). The breakfasts were fantastic with more food than we could want.
Location
While staying at Barndromin Farm we undertook a 3 days of sea kayaking with Seafreedom Kayak at Connol. This was very enjoyable and enabled us to see the fantastic highland scenary from a different perspective, i.e. the lochs, rather than driving around the roads.
